International Programme in Hospitality Management

Programme Overview

The International Programme in Hospitality Management is aimed at prospective students who aspire to achieve a substantive tertiary qualification that open doors for local as well as international employment, opportunities and travel experiences. This programme consists of a range of diploma qualifications from the Foundation Level 3 right up to the Pro-Graduate level 6. The Level 6 Pro-Graduate Programme is the ultimate undergraduate level award and has been expressly designed to provide equivalent learning to that provided by a British university bachelor’s degree programme in hospitality. You will receive a qualification at the end of each level of the programme suitable for immediate employment upon the successful completion of that level. You may continue with your studies to the next diploma level in the programme or alternatively apply for further studies at various international universities.

Join top global institutions such as Tsogo Sun, Hilton, Premier Inn, Renaissance, Radisson Edwardian and Thistle hotels, the Dhaka Sheraton, etc. Levels 3 and 4 of this programme allow entry into the industry and progression towards first-line management roles in various hospitality service areas such as guest relations, reception and reservations, food and beverage services, accommodation services, events, etc. Front of house personnel are currently in high demand in South Africa. Levels 5 and 6 of this programme allows for further career progression opportunities into managerial positions such as food and beverage manager, reservations manager, banqueting manager, catering manager, sales manager, event manager, guest relations manager, restaurant manager, kitchen manager, etc.
