Course overview

This course equips the students with the knowledge and skills to perform financial year-end functions and draft and interpret financial statements. Although this course includes a technical component applicable to financial accountants, interpretation of financial statements is a critical skill for entrepreneurs, business owners and general managers.

This is a distance learning course.

How long you will study

This course can be completed in 3 months. You have 12 months to complete the course.

To enter the course you need

  • Accounting at Grade 12 (with accounting as subject), or
  • Triversita Short Course: Bookkeeping to Trial Balance

What materials you will receive

The course fees include all study materials and postage expenses. Study materials include a textbook, study and solutions guide and a free USB drive containing videos and solutions playlists.

This course is assessed by Triversita and involves one written assignment.
