Programme Overview

If you have dreams to start, manage or develop a small/medium sized business, or want to help grow an established local company to a global enterprise, this is the study stream for you. It builds on the skills you acquired in the Entrepreneurship 1 and 2 programmes. This programme equips you with the knowledge and skills to elevate your business to the next level. You will also learn about the application of information systems in business, the application of costing principles and techniques as well as financial reporting. This qualification is the Advanced and Final Level of the ICB entrepreneurship programme and is specifically designed for students who wish to start their own ventures and become owner-managers, those students who aspire to become small business managers, or those students who are responsible for the keeping of the financial records of a small business. Upon completion of this qualification you can become the CEO of your own venture, be in charge of a business and/or its financial affairs or join SAIBA and start your own consulting practice. This programme is ideal if you are:

  • Are dreaming of starting your own company someday
  • Have already started a business but realise you have gaps in your knowledge
  • Are thinking of partnering with a non-financial person in a new venture
  • Want to make sure your existing or future company runs efficiently
